Any season is a wonderful time to head over to St. Clair Shores and check out the Nautical Mile, a strip of Jefferson Ave. between Nine Mile and Ten Mile feautring many retail establishments, resturants, boat dealers and marinas along the waterfront setting of Lake St. Clair. Situated on the western shores of the lake the city's name comes from the lake. St. Clair Shores has many waterfront and neighborhood parks, including a dog park, open to all residents, so they can enjoy the beautiful locale of their city.
